“Colegios Mayores” are University clubs that offer a lot of advantages that will make your life easier will studying. When you apply they group you with a group of 3-4 roomates to live in an apartment. The apartment is in the same building of others joined to the same club. They offer daily cleaning and food, so you don’t have to worry about cooking or laundry. They also promote daily study sessions in a quite room Every other weekend they have what they call “convivencias” that are a type of retirement. The whole club travels to a nearby town to pray and get to know others. They are all around the university campus just a few steps away.

It is recommended for the first year of university because they help you get to know others doing the same thing as you and they promote the type of studying you will need to pass all your classes. When in comes to nightlife you will have a curfew and if it is masculine no girls are allowed in the building or vice versa.
